Christine came to BFG in 2015 with a strong career background of leadership, tax and personal finance expertise. Having earned her CFP® credential (as well as her CPA & Masters degree), Christine brings a broad spectrum of knowledge in both tax and financial topics. Christine has a true passion for personal relationships and personal finance – a winning combination.

Christine has served in leadership roles in several companies before coming to Berger Financial Group, Inc. Most recently, she held both the Vice President/Controller and Vice President/CFO positions for two regional banks where she supervised key accounting functions. Christine also was the CFO of a land development company where she was responsible for the accounting of multiple closely held entities. In her public accounting positions, Christine prepared individual and business tax returns as well as tax projections.

When Christine is not working, she is working with the nonprofit organization called, Rangers Supporting Rangers located in the Forest Lake Area School District. This organization is a grass roots effort to provide nutritional support over weekends and school breaks to children who have access to free and reduced priced lunches during the school day, but whose families may struggle to provide food outside of school. Christine and her husband have one teenage son (an avid swimmer), a dog and a cat. Being married to an architect equates to a constant schedule of remodeling at the Thomas household.
