As a Tax Advisor, working out of our Burlington, Vermont office, Miles helps clients to understand their taxes and works to ensure they only pay what is required by tax code, taking into account multi-year strategies. Prior to BFG, Miles has several years of experience in tax preparation and planning, cost accounting and bookkeeping. He has supplemented this work with getting his Enrolled Agent license and continued education in the field of accounting by working towards a Masters of Accounting with a focus on Taxation.

Miles was born and raised in Southern Minnesota. He also attended college at Minnesota State University (2011) where he earned his bachelor’s degree. Shortly after graduation, he moved to Vermont with his wife and found himself focusing his attention on work in tax and accounting.

When not working, you can find Miles taking his son to local sporting events, fishing, gardening, spending time with his family or outside enjoying warm weather.
